GOING FORWARD
We are indebted to those of you who have supported us by buying our beers during lockdown, without that trade, which was at about 20% of what we would normally have done, it is possible that the brewery may not have survived - so a very big thank you
There is obviously a demand for home delivered beer, but we do not anticipate that it will be as large as it has been once pubs reopen hence why we will stop this pattern of collections and deliveries after Friday 3rd July. We also have to resume our usual deliveries to pubs so will not have the resources to be out home delivering every day
Our thinking at the moment is to devote Fridays to home deliveries - we would cover all the areas that we currently do, but on the one day (not just the afternoon) - we would need orders in by midday on Thursdays so that we can make sure that we have the right amount of draught beer available for pouring early on Friday. In terms of draught beer - it may be that we will only be able to justify one or maybe two beers on ordinary weeks, with some extras at busy times of year.
For all but our immediate vicinity, we will also have to implement a minimum order value of £20, although we will be able to deliver lower values if we are going to be in the area - you will need to ask. Locally we may also continue to deliver on Mondays and Wednsdays as well, but we would need the orders in the day before, once again please ask and further afield we may liaise to deliver on a different day if we are out there with our usual pub deliveries. Collections will still be possible, but you will need to check with us when is mutually convenient; we will try to keep our social media updated with days and times
I'd value any comments / thoughts / feedback about how we go forward with this - please e mail [email protected]
I will publish full details of how we go forward during the weekend of 4th / 5th July
Thank you all -- Cheers! -- Guy Sheppard
